Kylie Jenner Koko Collection

I’ve fallen into a trap, that being the Kylie Jenner liquid lipsticks. Thanks again to the convenience of barebeauty.co.za I managed to snag the Koko Collection which includes 3 matte liquid lipsticks, Khlos, Gorg and Okurrr and one gloss, Damn Gina. This is one of my favourite collection so far, especially the full gold packaging.

Khlos:

One of my Favourite from the collection, Khlos has a dark peachy appearance. I did notice that it dried darker than when I first applied it but it makes it all the more beautiful. This one is the easiest to apply, possibly because it is the lighter colour, and it is lightweight on the lips.

Gorg:

This liquid lipstick is such a stunning colour BUT… again with the dark liquid lipsticks being patchy? I just don’t understand why the best colours have to be like this. Fortunately, it’s not as bad as Blitzen from the Holiday Edition so you can kinda get away with it. Gorg is such a rich deep red, perfect for those cold winter outings.

Okurrr:

This is such a fun lively pink colour, perfect for the summer months. This one feels especially light on the lips but does dry slightly darker, not enough to change its vibrancy though.

Damn Gina:

This gloss is very similar to Cupid from the Holiday Edition but has less of an orange undertone and leans more towards a pink champagne colour. As I said in my previous post, I am not a fan of glosses but the Kylie Jenner glosses are incredible and this one, in particular, is a perfect lip topper for any lighter shade but is still beautiful on its own.

Chocolate Raspberry Swiss Roll

This was one of those bakes where I thought to myself, “Sh*t, I’m quite good at this.” (Not to toot my own horn or anything, but you know…), as I lay on the floor trying to get the best shots. According to my books, a swiss roll is quite a difficult task, but it went fairly smoothly, not saying that it was easy, though. The last time I made a swiss roll was when I was in high school for my consumer studies class where I had to roll it with a tea towel, but this one was (thank goodness) a bit simpler. Covered in chocolate ganache and filled with vanilla, honey and raspberry cream cheese, this is the ultimate valentines dessert. It takes a while to make so I would definitely suggest making it the day or evening before you see that special someone, or even for that special dinner party.
