Smoothie bowls are fantastic because they are easy, fun and taste absolutely amazing (they also make for a great insta pic). What I love about smoothie bowls is that you can get so creative and give a colourful spin on the plain old yoghurt and granola. So, I decided to give this trend a try and went for a very simple berry smoothie topped with almonds, chia seeds, banana, and raspberries.
I was really chuffed with how this turned out. I will add that although this seems as if it is for one person you could definitely share it with someone, otherwise you can blend the rest of the ingredients and save it for a real smoothie later.
